Fintastically Fredericksburg! Will transform the City of Fredericksburg in the spring and summer of 2007 into a playground with artist-decorated fish. The larger-than lifesize fiberglass models will celebrate the Fintastic creativity of our local arts community, promote area merchants and businesses and raise funds for the programs and activities of community organizations.

Fintastically Fredericksburg! was organized under the supervision of the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center in partnership with Friends of the Rappahannock and the Department of Tourism, City of Fredericksburg.

The organizer’s of Fintastically Fredericksburg! asked me and one other local artist to develop prototype models for potentential sponsors to see. 

My creation, “Riding A Wild Wave” was inspired by my love of animals, both below and above the ocean.  I hope that “Riding a Wild Wave” will find it’s way to an animal lover’s business or home. Scroll down to see some pictures of my work on this creation.
