Deborah Elaine strives to ignite joy and the love of discovery through her artwork. She enjoys creating paintings that are ablaze with color and brilliance, allowing the medium to work for her. Each painting is a “tid-bit” of Deb; a passion in her life; a place she’s been; an expression of mood or emotion.
Deb currently focuses her artistic energy painting watercolors, enjoying the expressiveness of the abstract and surreal nature of watercolor pourings. She is inspired by the character of animals and the beauty of nature. Her accomplished pieces animals, florals, portraits and people, and landscapes. Her mediums include watercolor, acrylic, oil, pencil and ink sketches, stained glass and mixed media. Over the years she has been inspired by the surreal works of Salvador Dali and Jim Warren.
